There are several key differences between these two courses. The program of the DSD Provider course is updated with the very latest in comprehensive digital care training taught by Christian Coachman and a team of DSD specialist presenters. DSD Provider course participants gain unique access to the DSD Planning Center through a complimentary product in addition to unlocking the DSD Planning Center Certification pathway. This feature makes it an ideal course for practically-minded dentists who want to implement DSD’s proven workflows in their clinics.
The in-person format of DSD Provider is a 2-day educational experience hosted in key locations around the world. The livestream format of the course is presented in six online sessions. Choosing the format is based on your schedule and preferred learning style.
Yes
Course participants have a timeframe of 3 MONTHS from course completion date to in which to complete the mandatory DSD Planning Center Certification. This is an online program that onboards clients to the DSD Planning Center and enables them to upskill as a client and make the most of their access. Once certification is granted, after passing an online assessment, participants can order their complimentary DSD Upper & Lower Design product.
Depending on whether you have completed the DSD Planning Center Certification, your access continues when you submit a minimum of one product per month. Another option is for you to continue your path to becoming a certified DSD Clinic which will grant you unlimited access.
If you are not able to complete the DSD Planning Center Certification within the three month timeframe, you will be able to apply for access again and continue to work through it until you are done.
DSD Provider is aimed at any dentist who is serious about implementing what they learn through the unique access to the DSD Planning Center, which is reserved for the Certified DSD Clinics. This is a unique learning opportunity for dentists of all levels of experience that will allow them to improve the quality of their output with their lab, connect better with their patients and make better treatment planning decisions.
It is true that the DSD Provider course content and post-course opportunities are curated for dentists who are serious about implementing and integrating the best DSD workflows in their clinic. However, participants are under no obligation to work with DSD after the course should they not wish to pursue the online DSD Planning Center Certification or make use of the complimentary DSD Upper and Lower design product. Participants benefit from attending the course regardless of how they work with DSD afterwards by learning the fundamentals of:
